Moon Lodge – The Art of Remembering
Since ancient times, women have gathered together in circles. In many cultures there were places where women withdrew during their moontime or after childbirth, stepping away from the demands of daily life to rest, share stories, and pass wisdom between generations.
Often known as Moon Lodges or Red Tents, these spaces were honoured as places of renewal where women could listen more deeply to the rhythms of their bodies and the cycles of the earth. Many traditions recognised this time as one of heightened intuition and insight, when women gathered together to listen deeply to the wisdom rising within them.
A Modern Sanctuary
