Who am I?
I am Fionn Leitch, the founder of Wild Power Alchemy a certified Reiki Teacher, Shamanic Practitioner, and Family Constellation Therapist, qualified and insured to deliver a range of alternative and holistic therapies to support people in taking charge of their wellbeing.
Your privacy and the protection of your personal data is important to me.
What does this Privacy Policy cover?
The purpose of this policy is to explain what types of information I collect from you, how I use it and how I securely store your personal information as well as any reasons I may need to disclose your personal data to others. You can request further information at any time about what personal information I am holding and how it is being used; you can ask for electronic copies of your personal information to be sent to you; and you can request that we erase your personal data.
This policy is subject to change, so please check the website on a regular basis.
What personal data do I collect and why do I use it?
Data protection laws state that I am only able to process personal data if I have valid reasons to do so.
I receive information about you from you when you decide you’d like to work with me (or if you contact me to potentially work together).
The personal data that I may collect from you includes some or all of the following personal data (this may vary depending on the services you access): Your Name, Date of birth, Gender, Address, Email Address, Telephone number, occupation, mental health history, any physical issues (that might, for example, affect how you receive a treatment such a Reiki or Shamanic Drumming), and any other pertinent information which might impact your therapy experience.
Under the GDPR, I must always have a lawful basis for using personal data. This may be because the data is necessary for my performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to my use of your personal data, or because it is in my legitimate business interests to use it. Your personal data may be used for one of the following purposes:

I will always work to fully protect your rights and comply with my obligations under the GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and you will always have the opportunity to opt-out.

Mailing list
I have a mailing list, which I use to send you news and information about events, workshops and retreats. You can sign up to the mailing list from my website. I will only send you emails from the mailing list if you choose to receive these messages. If you wish to change your email preferences or unsubscribe from the mailing list, you can do so by clicking on the “update preferences” or “unsubscribe” links in any newsletter we send you, or by contacting us using the methods described below.
How Long Will I Keep Your Personal Data?
I will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services you have requested and retain your data only for as long as necessary in accordance with applicable laws.
Your data will only be retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was required, including our legal, accounting and regulatory requirements. I am required to keep basic information for these purposes for a period of six years after you cease being a customer.
Who will I share your personal information with?
I will not share any of your personal data with any third parties for any purpose, subject to one important exception.
What are Your Rights?
Your personal information can only be held on valid bases, such as your consent, and our contractual obligation to provide services to you.
You have the right to determine how your data is collected and used by us. In particular:

My Privacy Notice shall be made clear to you at the point of collecting your personal data.
Accessing and updating your data
Please let me know if your information (email address etc) has changed so that I can ensure my records are up to date.
If you want to know what personal data I have about you, you can ask me for details of that personal data and for a copy of it (where any such personal data is held). This is known as a “subject access request”.
All subject access requests should be made in writing and sent to info@wildppoweralchemy.love.
There is not normally any charge for a subject access request. If your request is ‘manifestly unfounded or excessive’ (for example, if you make repetitive requests) a fee may be charged to cover my administrative costs in responding.
I will respond to your subject access request within seven working days and, in any case, not more than two weeks of receiving it. Normally, I aim to provide a complete response, including a copy of your personal data within that time. In some cases, however, particularly if your request is more complex, more time may be required up to a maximum of one month from the date I receive your request. You will be kept fully informed of my progress.

Users are advised to use social media platforms wisely and communicate/engage upon them with due care and caution in regard to their own privacy and personal details. This website nor its owners will ever ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms and encourage users wishing to discuss sensitive details to contact them through primary communication channels such as by telephone or email.
This website may use social sharing buttons which help share web content directly from web pages to social media platforms. Users are advised before using such social sharing buttons that they do so at their own discretion and note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account.
Where I store your personal data
I will only store or transfer your personal data in the UK. This means that it will be fully protected under the GDPR.
Any sensitive data (payment details, session notes for example) are encrypted and protected.
