Corporate Wellbeing
You can feel it in the room before anyone says it.
If your team is running on empty, you already know.
Stress, burnout and disengagement aren't just wellbeing issues, they're business problems. And the standard answers (yoga in the boardroom, a mindfulness app, the lunch time webinar or tick-box wellbeing day) often don't cut it.
Here's what the data says:
-
70% of employees report missing work due to mental health issues
-
Only 28% of employees report feeling very engaged in their work, Headspace
-
1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year, SAMH
And yet most solutions only scratch the surface.
When employees feel genuinely supported, they show up differently, more motivated, more present, less likely to take sick leave.
The ripple effect through an organisation is real.
Radiant Mind is something different.
It works beneath the thinking mind, on the level where stress actually lives.
What is Radiant Mind for teams?
Radiant Mind is a group drum sound experience that uses the steady, repetitive rhythm of the drum to support nervous system regulation, releasing tension and promoting a more balanced, settled state.
Radiant Mind sessions support the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of your team, helping to reduce stress, improve focus and increase clarity.
Rhythmic drumming is one of the oldest human practices and is known to positively influence the brain through repetition and pattern. This helps to quiet mental noise, support concentration and create a greater sense of calm.
You have heard the phrase "drumming it in"? You are trying to remember something and so you repeat it over and over again.
That is exactly how Shamanic Drumming works. It cuts through the mental chatter that keeps people stuck, creating space for new patterns to take root.
Facilitated by me, a somatic practitioner, breathwork facilitator and former corporate governance and compliance professional, each session combines:
-
Rhythmic drum sound healing
-
Grounding meditation and restorative breathwork
-
Positive affirmation work to embed new, empowering beliefs
-
Gentle integration and movement to close
The result is a team that leaves the room feeling lighter, clearer and genuinely recharged. Not just relaxed, but reset.

'Radiant Mind is a great opportunity to try something you would not normally have the chance to experience in team settings. This was the most favourite activity at our team retreat with our employees and Fionn made everyone feel comfortable and happy.'
Miranda Elder, EA to MD - Bute Energy
The Science bit
This is not just a feel-good experience. The neuroscience backs it up.
Studies suggest that rhythmic drumming can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood and support overall wellbeing, while also enhancing focus and cognitive function.
Here is why it works:
-
Through a process known as entrainment, the brain and nervous system begin to synchronise with the steady, repetitive rhythm of the drum.
-
This provides a consistent signal that allows the nervous system to settle, supporting a shift out of a constant state of tension and alertness.
-
As the body settles, mental chatter naturally quiets, making space for clearer thinking and improved focus.
-
It can support a shift from Beta (active, stressed) to Alpha (relaxed, receptive), where the body is better able to rest, restore and process
-
In these more receptive states, new thoughts and patterns are easier to integrate, supporting lasting change over time.

"Drumming synchronises the frontal and lower areas of the brain, integrating nonverbal information from lower brain structures into the frontal cortex, producing feelings of insight, understanding, integration, certainty, conviction, and truth, which surpass ordinary understandings and tend to persist long after the experience."
Michael Winkelman, Author, Shamanism: The Neural Ecology of Consciousness and Healing
What happens in a session?
Sessions are typically 60 minutes and can be tailored to your organisation's needs.
Ground and Arrive
A short grounding meditation and restorative breath signals safety to the nervous system and allows the body to begin slowing down.
Intentions setting
Each person chooses how they want to feel by the end. This simple act of intention-setting is surprisingly powerful and begins shifting the internal state immediately.
Enter the Sound
As the drum begins, your body attunes to its resonance and the thinking mind starts to loosen its grip. Stress and tension held in the body begin to release.
Receive and Recharge
I move through the space, drumming around and over the participants, working directly with the body’s rhythm to recalibrate and re-energise each person.
Integrate and Return
A short period of reflection and gentle movement brings the group back into the room, lighter, clearer and more present.

Radiant Mind outcomes to energise teams
After a Radiant Mind session, teams consistently report:
Greater mental clarity and focus
Reduced stress and anxiety
A sense of deep relaxation and physical release
Improved mood and a more positive outlook
Feeling more connected to colleagues
New perspective on challenges they were stuck on
Increased energy and motivation

Fionn Leitch
Somatic Practitioner and Breathwork Facilitator
I know what a high-pressure working environment feels like, because I lived in one.
Before becoming a somatic practitioner and breathwork facilitator, I spent years in corporate governance and compliance roles. I know the reality of deadlines, mental overload, decision fatigue and the kind of tension that builds quietly until it tips over.
That experience is exactly why I do this work with teams. I am not an outsider trying to explain stress to you. I have sat in those meetings and I understand what your people are carrying.
I created Radiant Mind Drumming as a powerful, accessible experience that works even for the most sceptical person in the room. It does not require any prior experience, any belief system, or any willingness to try hard. The drum does the work and your body simply responds.
Based in Berkshire, delivering sessions across the UK and online.
I have worked with organisations including Bute Energy and Nationwide, as well as hosting regular group sessions open to the public.

FAQ's
Do people need any prior experience?
None at all. Radiant Mind works for complete beginners and for people who have never tried anything like this before. Many of my most enthusiastic participants were the biggest sceptics in the room beforehand, which I love, because I was and still am one!
Will people feel uncomfortable or put on the spot?
Not at all. Participants simply lie down, close their eyes and receive. There is nothing to do, perform or believe in. I create a safe, warm and entirely non-pressured environment.
Is this evidence-based?
Yes. The therapeutic benefits of rhythmic drumming are supported by peer-reviewed research. The science section above explains the neuroscience in more detail.
How many people can take part?
Sessions work well for groups of 6 to 12 people, at one time.
Are there contra-indications
Radiant Mind is a gentle, non-invasive experience. However, because rhythmic sound can significantly influence the nervous system and biological rhythms, there are some health conditions that may prevent participants from taking part.
Upon booking I will share a full list of contra-indications with you to cascade to your team ahead of the session.
